The GSP-730 spectrum analyser
The GW Instek GSP-730 is a 3 GHz spectrum analyser designed primarily for the requirements of RF communications education. Budget constraints and inadequate teaching resources are usually the two hurdles for schools to offer high quality courses for RF communications experiments. The GSP-730 is a moderate, full-featured spectrum analyser that, together with the GRF-1300 / GRF-1300A training kit, occupies a unique position in the field as an economical all-in-one solution for 3GHz RF communications experiment courses.
With its components, GSP-730 Spectrum Analyzer, GRF-1300 / GRF-1300A Trainer and a PC, properly connected, a tangible system is integrated for conducting ongoing experiments while the lecture is delivered. Using a PC, the teacher can present the teaching material with PowerPoint slides and simultaneously control GSP-730 and GRF-1300 / GRF-1300A to perform experiments and retrieve spectrum displays and parameter values on the PC screen. GSP-730 and GRF-1300 / GRF-1300A easily transfer the current teaching material, including PowerPoint slides, textbook and remote control software, to the electronic teaching system.
